By using bitchat.cc you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Last updated 2026-10-05.

The site

bitchat.cc publishes original guides and links to, or mirrors, Android installation files from the public bitchat release. The software is the upstream project’s. The Android repository states that the project is released into the public domain and points readers to its LICENSE file. Read that license before you reuse the source. These terms cover the website, not a new license for the app.

No warranty

Guides and files are provided as-is. We work to keep hashes accurate and pages current. We do not warrant that a page is complete, that a phone will install the package, that a mesh will form, or that a message will stay confidential. The app can change. Phone software can change. A guide can lag behind both.

You are responsible for checking the SHA-256 before you install a file, and for deciding whether the app is appropriate for what you want to say.

Acceptable use

Do not attack this site, probe it for other people’s contact messages, or overload the file host. Do not present bitchat.cc as the official publisher of the app. Do not upload our pages into an ad that pretends a download is a system update or a Play Store screen.

Advertising

Pages may show third-party ads. An ad is not an endorsement, and an ad is not the APK. If an advertisement claims to be bitchat, treat it as an advertisement and come back to this site or to GitHub for the file.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, bitchat.cc is not liable for lost messages, a bricked install, a store warning, or any loss that follows from using the app or relying on a guide. Some places do not allow an exclusion of liability. In those places, the limit is the smallest one the law allows.

Changes

We can update these terms by editing this page. The date at the top is the version that applies. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
